Dennis Riabov - Physio
BHSc, MPhysioSci
Denis graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters in Physiotherapy Practice and has also undertaken 2 years of Bachelors of Exercise and Sport Science Degree at Deakin University.
He went on to work for private and public entities for 6 years where he developed extensive
knowledge working with a variety of clientele of all ages, abilities and disabilities. He sees clients who are under the NDIS, WorkCover, TAC, DVA, Medicare and private clientele.
Denis takes pride in his work and utilises his knowledge and experience to help his clients achieve their rehabilitation goals. He enjoys treating all major musculoskeletal conditions, chronic, age related and work-related pain that can occur after workplace and motor vehicle accidents. He has a particular interest in lower limb rehabilitation and optimising athletic performance. Suffering from sporting injuries that required 2 hip surgeries in his younger days, he has developed extensive knowledge in post-surgical rehabilitation.
Since graduating, Denis has completed a number of extra-curricular courses to help you achieve your best results. These include dry needling, Pilates, sports, hip, knee, ankle and shoulder courses.
Outside of work, he enjoys weightlifting, bike riding, camping and hiking with his dog.
Denis consults out of Wells Road Medical Centre on:
Mondays: 8.30am-1.30pm and
Thursdays: 1.30pm-9pm
