Dr. Ayesha Mohiuddin graduated with her medical degree from Deccan College of Medical Sciences in India. She brings a wealth of clinical experience, having worked across a broad range of medical specialties. Her Australian medical experience includes rotations in emergency medicine, psychiatry, and both medical and surgical departments at the esteemed Austin Hospital in Melbourne.
Driven by a strong interest in women’s health, Dr. Ayesha further expanded her expertise through her work with Mercy Health in Heidelberg, where she gained significant experience in antenatal care and other aspects of women’s health.
Dr. Ayesha has a special interest in the following areas of general practice:
Women’s health, including antenatal care
Contraceptive procedures, including Implanon and Mirena insertion/removal
Iron infusions
Child and adolescent health
Chronic disease management
Preventative healthcare
Mental health and wellbeing
Sexual health
She is fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi, which enables her to communicate effectively with patients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Ayesha enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, and values a balanced lifestyle that supports her professional and personal wellbeing.
